A QUICK GUIDE TO ENSURE YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE AT XTREME INDOOR KARTING:​

YOUR VISIT

  • Check your eligibility: Karting is not suitable for pregnant individuals or those with certain medical conditions. If unsure, please check before your visit.

 

ON THE DAY

  • Please do not wear sandals, Crocs, or heels. • Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe sturdy footwear.  

  • You will receive a hairnet and a helmet

  • Securely tie back long hair before the experience.

  • Ensure no one in your group is under the  influence of alcohol or any substances, you will be unable to drive.

  • Lockers are available for racers within XTREME KARTING.

  • Snacks and beverages are available in the Fan Zone. However, alcohol cannot be consumed before driving.

  • Where is Xtreme Indoor Karting?
    Xtreme Indoor Karting has 2 tracks located in Fourways Cedar Square Shopping Centre The entrance to our track at Cedar Square is via the undercover parking entrance, Willow Ave, Fourways. Fourways Mall The entrance to our track at Fourways Mall is via the yellow parkade entrance on Short Street. We are located on on Level 4 which is above the Food Court close by Toy Kingdom in the mall.
  • Do I need to book?
    For our arrive and drive individual sessions, we work on a first come first serve basis. We take bookings for larger groups like Birthday Parties or Events, Corporate Functions and Team Buildings. Please make sure to chat to us regarding availability for any racing session.
  • What are your opening times?
    Tuesday - Friday - 11h00 - 19h00 Saturday - 09h00 - 19h00 Sunday and Public Holidays - 09h00 - 17h00
  • What is the minimum age to drive?
    The minimum age to race at Xtreme Indoor Karting is 8. However, all drivers must be a minimum of 1.25m to drive.
  • Is there a maximum height/weight limit?
    There is no specific maximum height limit for operating our karts. We recommend a maximum weight of 120kg.
  • Can I wear glasses with my helmet?
    Yes. However, in order to properly put on the helmet, it is necessary to remove any glasses first before positioning the helmet on your head. Once the helmet is securely in place, glasses can be carefully slid into place through the visor gap
  • Do parents need to sign the indemnity form for the child?
    Yes, individuals under the age of 18 will be required to obtain the signature of a parent or legal guardian. All racing adults must also complete our indemnity form in compliance with our safety protocols and legal requirements.
  • I have a medical condition/disability, can I drive?
    Xtreme Indoor Karting is fully accessible. However, we advise against participating in go-kart activities if you have any medical conditions that may be effected by physical exertion. It is important to note that if a particular condition prevents you from obtaining a driver's license, it is likely to restrict your ability to engage in go-karting as well
